Lovely team and lots of them, so service is great.
Wonderful selection of fresh fish, depending on the day’s catch.
Our server took us to fish counter, showed us the fish. We chose what we wanted, it was weighed and priced up.
Squid and Dorada €50/ kg, which calculated as €17 and €15.
Boiled Prawns to share as a starter €12.50.
Fish is all grilled and very simple.
Served with potatoes, salad or fries.
The Dorada, in particular, was excellent.
We recommend and will definitely return.

I picked the fish (with help) they filleted it and cooked it. It was amazing! We ordered it the traditional way with boiled potatoes and tomato and onion salad. Best fish ever!!!!

What a place! You can eat fresh seafood and enjoy the view on the process of packing and sorting fresh fish. This place is always packed and there might be some waiting time for table and dishes but totally worth it. Soo good and fresh! Big portions so you won’t leave on empty stomach 😉 Also, you can select your own piece of fish for grill so that’s nice. 🙂

Superb! Must try in Sagres and the best seafood restaurant. Fish comes directly from the port, it doesn’t get any fresher than this. We came here a couple of times and had different fish depending on a fresh catch of the day. Trust the staff, they make great recommendations.
Top picks: fried shrimps, olives + fish of the day (corvina / sea bass, tuna, king prawns were top!). Even people who usually don’t like seafood, will love it. Service is amazing - organized, friendly, super fast. They know what they do and do it on a top level. Definitely will be back.

Simple seafood restaurant at the port of Sagres with very warm, friendly service. Be sure to observe the opening hours as it closes early. Our fish was very delicious ! During the waiting period you can watch the local fishermen auctioning fish. Price also very acceptable.

Not only did we get to choose the fish we wanted from the display case, we could watch restaurant owners bid for fresh fish in crates for purchase. Fascinating process!
Our servers were very funny and laughter is always welcome. Lots of choices on the menu and a beautiful view of the rock face.

Had a delightful lunch here with 3 other couples. You pick your fish from the seafood case and they then grill it for you.
