Assomar

The food was really good, we took one bruschetta per person and could have been enough, but we still tried the sardinas which were really good and fresh. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming and all of that for a really compelling price.

I had the pleasure of spending my Friday evening at Assomar, and it was such a lovely experience! The owner is incredibly welcoming and friendly, and the location is unbeatable! You get an unobstructed view of the valley, making it a peaceful and relaxing spot to go for sunset.

The food was absolutely delicious! I had the prawns, green beans, and sweet potato chips. And of course, I couldn’t leave without trying dessert. The cheesecake was amazing! You can really taste the quality of the ingredients and a lot of care goes into the cooking.

I’m already looking forward to coming back to taste more of the menu and soak in the atmosphere again!

What a great surprise this was! We were looking for a place to eat dinner and stumbled across Assomar and decided to try it out, and man what a delight! It was late afternoon/early evening so the place wasn’t very busy yet, we had an amazing sunset view and the food was spectacular! We had the chance to talk with the manager and even met the chef which happens to be his mom! Super nice people that made every effort to make us feel at home and that we’d have the best experience possible. Local fresh foods with an amazing vibe, can’t get much better than this! Saw they have a very nice brunch menu, so we’re definitely coming back for that! Thank you Aluizio and all the staff for the amazing evening!

The food was absolutely delicious and served in an authentic, cozy atmosphere with great music. We especially enjoyed the squid, tuna, and the seafood with rice for two people. I can highly recommend! The service was very friendly and attentive. A wonderful place to relax and enjoy excellent seafood.
No matter how full u are, order the cheesecake!!!

I was there for dinner with my partner and must only say… EXCELLENT!
Not only is the service great, professional, and kind, but also food is explained to us such that we get mouth watering even before starting to eat.
Products are as fresh as you can get them straight out of the garden. Incredibly good and creative cooking.
Location for us could not be better. Isolated from big and busy touristy centres, it was possible to enjoy food at its fullest.
Music choice was also perfect and relaxing.
I will definitely return there whenever I am around.
