Lovely views following a short hike, and I managed to catch a rainbow. Lots of people, all ages from all over the world (actually mostly Europeans) make the hike. Some will go all the way to the end of the island. If you have the time (and ability) do it. It's stunning.

Amazing coastal hike with breathtaking views. The main path ends at a small bar where you can enjoy a drink or snack. Easy to reach by bus 113 from Funchal 🚌

What an amazing trail! You don't have to go all the way if you don't feel like it, but no matter where you look - everything looks breathtaking. This part of the island is definitely worth your attention with all the ocean views and unbelievable landscape

Keep in mind that the whole trail is about 2-3 h long (one way), and there are no toilets along the way.
The government has recenty introduced an entrance fee of 3€. However, it is worth it!
