Good place to chill out in the evening. There's live music here every couple of days in a week. The hot chocolate was perfect (not from a can of chocomel) Staffs are friendly, nice place to catch up with expats and locals. And they serve good pizza.

Atabai was an amazing night out and short drive from Lagos. The ambiance was comfortable and vibrant. Sonia and her staff were very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed delicious pizzas and sangria! I highly recommend stopping in and enjoying an evening of great food and music, with family and friends. I will definitely make a stop here again if my travels take me to the area. Good friends, good food, good wine mixed with Fado songs and it just doesn't get any better. A special night! Old style tavern in a tiny old town. People from every corner of Europe. The garlic bread thin crust pizza or something was amazing!

Atabai is an amazing spot. Make the effort to take a taxi or Uber to Barão de São João for this awesome restaurant bar. Live music nights, awesome food and super friendly staff. For some reason this place attracts very friendly customers as well.

Many profess to be the idyllic beach restaurant, few achieve such heights.
If you crave simple cooking extremely well prepared this restaurant is for you.
No bling bling or loud music but simple sophisticated excellence.
Would recommend booking, sit back relax and enjoy!
