Quaint traditional portuguese bar at base of the crag. A must for all climbers and a great way to end the day with a beer in the sun. Support your local bar, run by a characterful old couple with a cute wee dog.

After a very warm climb, we were very happy to have 2 cold bottles of beer and a small bottle of water for 6.75. The old guy tried to ask us about climbing, but we have no Portuguese, so we tried our best to communicate.
A very welcome pit stop for a cold beer and a guy that seemed to appreciate us stopping by.

We were the only costumers. I hope they do good business in season! this is the place where time go’s a little bit slower than somewhere else. So don’t mind to spend and ‘lose’ some time here. You’ll enjoy it!

Funny the arrogance of most tourists comenting here like if the owner had to speak English, French, german or wherever the f... You are. This os Portugal, in a rural part of the Algarve. Pure sheer arrogance.

Not a bad place to stop for a drink after a wander in the national park, however if you speak no Portuguese you might find the owner difficult to converse with. Many people have complained about the price of the drinks but we thought they were fairly reasonable, €4.50 for 2 330ml cans of pop, definitely cheaper than the bar where we are staying at least.
