Barco do Castelo de Almourol

O barco leva-nos numa curta viagem até à pequena ilhota onde se ergue o Castelo de Almourol.

Visita muito interessante. 4 euros a visita de barco, com entrada no castelo. É só chegar neste ponto e pagar aos barqueiros.

I arrived at 1550, the sign said the last trip would be at 16:50 (40 mins prior to closing at 1730) the boat came back at 1620 and told us no more boat rides. I drove over 2 hrs from Porto to be let down by a bald boat man.

They sell the tickets on the boat instead of in advance so it takes forever for it to fill up and leave.
No schedule written anywhere.
I arrived at 11:45, but I had to wait until after 3pm because they stopped bringing people to the island from 12-2:45 even though the boats continued operating to bring people back from the island for another hour. I arrived by bicycle so I couldnt leave and come back either.
