Excellent experience from start to finish. The drink menu is impressive and beautifully presented, with photos that really help you choose and set expectations, which were fully delivered.
I was genuinely impressed that the same waiter who took our order also prepared all the drinks himself, flawlessly serving our table of 8 adults as well as a separate table of 4 teenagers with well-crafted non-alcoholic beverages. That level of skill and attention is rare.
The starters were great, the food was high quality, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. To top it all off, the décor of the place is stylish, well thought out, and creates a great atmosphere.
A place that combines professionalism, quality, and ambiance. Highly recommended.

We wanted some nice, tasty, uncomplicated food and this place was perfect.
Chips and mayonnaise - just like in the Netherlands.
A club Sandwich that was thick and bursting with good things.
The tomatoes in the salad were slices from big beef varieties - very good..
The white Monte Velho wine was great value and good enough to have a second glass.
The waiting staff were friendly and helpful.
Very enjoyable and just what we wanted!

We live in Tavira and had gone to VRDSA for a few hours. We visited a book shop where some friends been and they told us how good the food was here.
I had fish and chips, they were delicious and as good as in the UK, my husband had a burger which he enjoyed. They also served my husbands favourite drink, Guinness!
The service was so good, friendly and efficient.
We will definitely go again when we next visit the town and would recommend a visit to anyone.

We don't usually eat and drink at restaurants that aren't Portuguese but made an exception as we'd just come out of the bookshop opposite. Also, one of the few things I miss about the UK is Guinness! We had a good meal. My wife ordered fish and chips - the fish was fresh, not frozen, and lightly battered. I had a burger which was absolutely fine. As a starter we shared a,goats cheese salad - excellent, complete with walnuts, figs and,apple. The service was prompt and friendly. Not the cheapest place and not particularly Portuguese, but when we next hop on the bus from our home in Tavira we'll stop by.

If you're looking to enjoy good food at fair price in a traditional Portuguese bistro, then this is a must try. Great service and an excellent atmosphere complete the experience.
