Our experience at Borges Restaurant was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment we stepped in, the staff showed an unwavering level of kindness, making us feel welcome and valued. The service was impeccable, with the team going above and beyond to ensure our evening was special.

The food was truly amazing, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to using fresh, high-quality produce. The mussels were cooked to perfection, served with aromatic herbs and tender onions, while the seafood skewers were a highlight—succulent prawns, tender fish, and chargrilled vegetables brought an explosion of flavors with every bite. Each dish was presented beautifully, making it a feast for both the eyes and the palate.

What's even more impressive is the incredible value for money. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and the level of service we received. It’s rare to find such high standards without feeling like your wallet has taken a hit.

Overall, Borges Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone in Almancil. Great food, fantastic service, and a team that made our night one to remember. We can't recommend it enough!

We came here without reservations, but they were able to accommodate us and were seated promptly.

Luis was our waiter who was very friendly and attentive.

For starters, we ordered the Cod cakes and entrees, I ordered the grilled Sea Bass while my wife ordered the grilled Bream. We also ordered the mixed salad.

The Cod cakes were decent but nothing special.

Both of the grilled fish were super good. Fresh and flavorful. The salad was good, too.

Borges is a quaint and casual restaurant. They seem to get busy, and so, a reservation is a good idea. Highly recommend it!

My wife and I went here and we are non meat eaters (eat Fish and Vegetarian). Finding a good restaurant that focuses on Fish and Seafood is not that simple in the Algarve. This restaurant is quite good. As a test I ate fish and chips (Portuguese style). I was impressed. It is not classical fish and chips, it is Portuguese, and very good. I had a side order of mushrooms, which were excellent. My wife ate the shrimp skewer with a side order of vegetables. We had appetizers like breaded shrimp and cod patties. Again we did so to get a reference and the quality of their cooking. As I was driving only my wife drank wine and it was very good as well. All and in all we were very happy and impressed.

I went here for dinner with friends who live locally. The food was all excellent - both seafood (clams, mussels, shrimp skewer) and meat (T-bone steak, lamb stew). Most importantly, though, the service was outstanding. The staff were SO kind and attentive. We felt genuinely cared for. I hope to go back next time I visit. Highly recommend this spot!

An absolutely delightful Restaurant in Almancil. I lunch here: Monk Fish and Prawns Mozambique style, which was delicious.😋 For Dessert: Pudim Flan 🍮 The Staff were so Friendly. I would certainly recommend this typical Portuguese 🇵🇹 Restaurant…🥰 This is my 4th visit, and it just gets better…
