We came across this place after arriving in Luz. What a find!
For lunch we had the Cuban sandwich special and the tuna salad, both delicious. For breakfast we had beans on toast with bacon and eggs. The coffee was the best we’ve had in days, and definitely the best in Luz!
While eating, several of the others were regulars - some regulars for a week, others regulars for years.
The staff was friendly and attentive.

This is a great eatery. It’s small in size but has indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoors has a view of the ocean and beach. The food is delicious. Try the bifana meal! It’s my favorite. They also serve beer and alcohol. The owners and staff are friendly and eager to serve. They speak English too. Parking is nearby but sometimes it fills up with surfers. I recommend eating here.

Our go-to in Luz for a local eatery. Caters for all: Great coffees, breakfast, afternoon snack and beer. Coffee prices slightly cheaper than on the seafront and you still have a sea view. Service is always very attentive & friendly. Lovely to sit outside and it’s quiet enough for our baby to sleep 👍 Cash only at this place.
