Stopped here for dinner and it did not disappoint. Beautiful old facade shop with unique interior with smart, polite and friendly staff. I had a Portuguese Tablet, with sausages, cheeses, olive crushed in brandy and bread €12. Oh WOW it was truly amazing and one not to miss. My hubby had the Angus burger 180g with bacon, cheddar cheese, fried egg, caramelised onion and homemade fries, again another cracking meal at €14. I would recommend this quaint little place anytime, oh and the cakes eeeekkkkkk I wish I had room for one but they are on veiw to see which you would like.

A very beautiful café in a classic style. It has long opening hours and offers excellent service. Even at the late hour when we visited, the cake was still perfectly fresh and absolutely delicious.

We were on a day trip to Loule when we encountered Café Calcinha after completing our visit to the Mercado. The three of us each had a hamburger with bacon and caramelized onions on a roll with fries. The hamburger was huge (at least a half pound of Angus beef) and fantastically delicious! We all shared a bottle of water and two of us had beers. On top of that, the interior provided an enjoyable environment for the meal. At 52.50 EUR we received great value for our money! Highly recommend!

Friendly and welcoming staff, tasty food. We stopped for lunch and ordered the Angus Burger and Tuna Loin. The Tuna Loin was served well-done instead of the medium-rare we had requested, but the team handled it swiftly and professionally—bringing out a perfectly cooked replacement. Great service and a very enjoyable meal overall!

We found this place by pure luck, as other restaurants were full and there was one table available. We were greeted by a friendly staff that seated us down with a smile and swiftly took our order. They also made meal suggestions, which we appreciated very much. The menu is not complex, its structured rather around snack/street food, but everything was well prepared and setiously tasty. The selection of desserts is vast and everything we tried was exquisite! Great place with tons of authentic atmosphere and tasty local dishes, definitely worth your attention.
