We have just finished eating a ginormous seafood cataplana. Very delicious, extremely big portion, staff very nice and friendly. Really a hidden gem!

We wanted to try some legit Catalana while here and our hosts in Portimao said to head here in order to do so without paying the tourist area prices. We did the mixed version and it came with lots of clam, a few mussels, and it seemed like 10 different kinds of shrimp and crab. It was delicious and too much for the two of us. With a bottle of vinho verde we were at just under 60 euros.
They also had several less expensive versions with monkfish, cod, and a couple others.
No reservations were needed for dinner. They can seat a lot of people. We sat upstairs so our view was of the adjacent farm instead of the street and the street noise wasn’t very noticeable.

We come here regularly... The food is fantastic and theres a great atmosphere in the restaurant.. Service is typical Portuguese, so expect a bit of a wait. Great value and Great quality offering.

We saw bad reviews and almost dismissed the restaurant. Decided to go ans have been twice during our end of year Holiday. The food was delicious and service was good definitely worth visiting

Seafood Cataplana had a great variety and was delicious. Fillet steak was perfectly cooked and desserts superb. Super friendly service. Highly recommended.

Recommend to try this place we have been twice now and enjoyed the whole experience we had the shellfish Cataplaner today and it was one of the best’s I’ve ever had we will definitely be going back to try other things off the menu.
