Castle was closed on the day we visited so we explored the perimeter, which is impressive. Road to the castle is well marked but a little rough as there have been significant rains lately in the area. The view was incredible.

A pleasant place with spectacular views of the diversity of Portuguese fauna. I recommend leaving the car by the paved road and walking the rest of the way on foot.

I enjoyed the experience. I've done this before in 2 other countries, and this was the best. I loved the fact that the guide gave us a chance to ride fast (with caution and safety). The view was very picturesque and historic. The tour was actually full length, 90 mins. We didn't feel robbed. I would recommend this to anyone - you'd enjoy it.
