We were walking around looking for a place for a nice authentic dinner with Tapas style options to share. We could’ve not found anything better than this. Lovely service and a wonderful evening. Food and wine was just absolutely amazing. Highly recommended.

Dined here on our last night in Faro and it was an excellent experience. The food was truly delicious and the service excellent. I had tiborna de sardinha to start which is essentially a sophisticated sardines on toast with a coriander pesto - really delicious. I followed that with lombo de bacalhao which was a stunning dish. A huge piece of cod, beautifully flaky, perfectly cooked with soft white onions on bread with roast potatoes and roasted veg on the side. This was the best dish of my stay here and a hugely generous portions. I finished with a lime panacotta - by far the best I have had - and a orange liquor shot. The whole three course meal for two with a half bottle of wine came in at €86, so both delicious and great value. The staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive, and made the whole thing a superb experience.

We sat upstairs at the rooftop area and were a pretty big group but the waiter took great care of us! They have a large selection of ‘small’ plates and a few larger mains, so I recommend picking a few and sharing.
While we tried 8 or 9 different dishes, some highlights for us were the ovos rotos, chimichurri veal, octopus, and the fried crumbs with prawns (migos).
I can recommend when you’re in Faro!!

We had dinner at this restaurant on the lovely square near Faro Cathedral, of course sitting outside.
The whole experience was very positive, from the warm welcome and comfortable seating to the tasty food and excellent suggestions from the staff.
They were friendly and attentive despite the place being quite busy. Prices are fair, and overall it was a very satisfying experience

Excellent food, service and wine. Beautiful setting in the old town and away from lots of traffic. Recommend you add to your list of places to eat in Faro. My husband has the sirloin which he said was amazing and I had the codfish which was also so good and quite traditional for that area. Desserts…

Excellent food in lovely location. Very busy but the service was still excellent.
The piri piri chicken was absolutely delicious but the sauce incredibly hot.
Definitely worth a visit we tired to go back but the restaurant was closed that night.

Booked a table as recommended by our hosts.
Nice menu very varied , we chose the monk fish, clam and prawn rice as a main dish. It needed to be served in a soup bowl rather than a plate (and some bread).
