We came back again this year - and ended up having dinner here three times. It was even better than last time. If we could, we would simply order our way through the entire menu from top to bottom. The quality, the creativity and the way traditional Portuguese dishes are reinterpreted here is just outstanding 🦐🍷

Sitting on this rooftop, in what is clearly a historic building, overlooking Faro, creates a feeling that is hard to describe - almost like being at a place that instantly feels like home. And that’s something we honestly don’t have in Munich.

This restaurant has become one of the main reasons we keep coming back to Faro.

Thank you for these wonderful evenings, the warm and openhearted service, the excellent wine and the atmosphere that stays with us long after we leave 🙏🏻

Update 2024:

Like we promised we booked a table last night for having our dinner at the Rooftop. What else can we say but “amazing”. If we could we would try and order the whole menu card from bottom to top. Definitely the best restaurant for traditional dishes in Faro. Their unique style and the modern preparation of traditional dishes make a visit just perfect. Thank you, wish we had a restaurant like this in Munich 🙏🏻❤️

Hidden place with super delicious small dishes and plates (a bit like Tapas), good open white wine, nice view of the skyline of Faro and a engaged service 🌆 We’ll coming back the next few days for sure 😎🙏🏻

We stumbled across this place as we explored old town and what a find! Small and intimate rooftop bar with a lovely waiter! We had the most amazing wine spritz or two! The ceviche and sardine bruschetta were both incredible. We even got to watch storks flying over the tiled rooftops of old town. Amazing! Honestly was our favorite stop in Faro for both food and ambiance.

Came here with my husband yesterday. We have been in Faro almost 2 weeks and we had the best food on the trip sofar here at this place!! We sat on outside at the balcony and enjoyed the view. Sami, our waiter was amazing and told us things you did no about Faro!😁 we ordered 4 courses and every one was sooooo good! Loved the tuna with the sesame seeds especially and the pork cheaks!! And of course we had deserts!!Highly reccomend this restaurant. Be sure when you order to ask for a seat at the balcony!😜 Margrét from Iceland

Some of the best food you'll find in Faro. A good choice without it being a huge menu. They specialise in about 20 small plates, cooked by a chef who knows what they are doing. I can imagine each dish would be delicious.

Views across some of the city making for a nice outlook.

The waiter was very friendly with us but he was a bit grumpy with others. I understand his reasoning, but having very strong words at customers who had just arrived in good spirit and moved a chair to their table (as often happens) was very rude and unnecessary.

However if you go there and you are on your best behaviour then you will have a culinary delight so don't be put off, just be careful.
