We stayed at the TUI Blue hotel just up from this cafe. It has been renamed as A CONFEITARIA NA CASA BRANCA and was recommeded by pur rep. Have to say the service aquality of drinks and foo was briiliant. We went almost every day as we enjoyed it so much.
The atmosphere is great with a good mixture…

Fantastic both in quality and in Service.
Excellent salad and bread, well made, well presented and generous dimensions qb.
Bakery: a real disgrace for those who cannot or should not exaggerate in sweets. The best test, to me: a wonderful Jesuit.

The worst bakery in Madeira. The macarons were old and dry. Shameful to sell to paying customers. The cakes look good but are not fresh. The worst Pastel de natal I've tasted. For heaven's sake, steer clear of this bakery. It was really miserable

Four staff who were busy serving customers, completely ignored us so we left after 15 min.
Drinks etc appeared to arrive soon after ordering and food looked very appetising.
We were completely blanked, one of the older members of staff was clearing tables - starting from the other end of the cafe…
