Absolutely wonderful lunch by the beach. Fresh seafood and great service. We had the whole seabass to share with potatoes and vegetables for 65euros. Definitely recommend eating here for a lunch date ❤️

Absolutely recommended to try this place. The seafood and fresh fish were outstanding. I would recommend to book in advance during the summer months but we were lucky and managed to get a table within a 15min wait. All the starters and main dishes were outstanding. Will come back again.

Great decor, great staff and amazing food.
We had pork loin and beef special cut. However they were off card so you won't find on the menu. We asked the waiter to recommend and he did...all including drinks (wine) £88 for two people. Definitely a great night with great staff. For starters we had the squid.

We spent our new year's eve 2025 in this restaurant. We had a wonderful time. Although quite expensive it was well worth it. It was all inclusive. Lots of delicious food and drinks. Many courses and wine flowing generously. An Aporil on arrival, red, white and rose wine throughout the meal and champagne and raisins at midnight. We all went up on rooftop at midnight to view the magnificent fireworks display on the beach with champagne in hand. Best fireworks ever in our experience. My husband and I are from Dublin in Ireland. We've been staying in Altura annually since 1992 and other times too, with our family and now their families and sometimes just the two of us. We have visited Monte Gordo many times but stayed there this time for 4 nights. We have had some great meals in Dona Bela before and chose it for our New Year's Eve celebrations. It cost €165 each but it was worth every penny especially as it is the anniversary night of us meeting for the first time. Highly recommend this restaurant. And last but not least the service is excellent. The staff are very attentive and friendly.
