A cosy escape for kicking off the night, winding down in the small hours, or losing yourself in the hours between. Offers new creations and old classics, with or without a spin. We ended up staying later than we should have but it was worth every minute.

Absolutely loved the cocktails here. Forbidden Door has a really cosy, intimate vibe and the staff clearly know their craft. Every drink felt carefully made with proper flavours, not just sugar. The menu is creative but still really drinkable. I had a citrus based cocktail that was perfectly balanced and honestly one of the best I’ve had in Portugal. A great spot for a date night or a slower, relaxed evening with good music and conversation. Highly recommend if you’re into quality cocktails.

Very distinctive, alluring, and creative speakeasy style bar with several exceptional cocktails. The menu is broken out by spirit, with some extremely creative drinks that are far from ordinary. They’re a bit particular about making reservations - so if you’re with a group - don’t bother if you haven’t reserved well in advance. It was just the two of us, arriving around 7, and they did accommodate us with a high tip. The mixologist behind the bar takes his craft seriously - the rum / chocolate bitters cocktail I had was one of the best drinks I can recall in recent memory. This is a truly unique curated cocktail experience that is well suited for any serious fan of exploring progressive mixology.

The cocktails were amazing. Katharina made the best cocktails, one of my fave martinis and the yuzu cocktail was excellent. Such a nice speakeasy cocktail bar in Lagos.

The Forbidden Door is such a cool spot! The cocktails were truly unique, each one crafted with creativity and bold flavors you don’t find everywhere. The music had a more laid-back, oldies vibe which I absolutely loved! Overall, it’s a fun and memorable place to grab drinks and enjoy the atmosphere.
