On our last night in Faro, we came here for dinner and it was superb.
It may seem a bit like another quick restaurant for tourists - but it is so much better. It also was one of the few places around that had cataplana (seafood stew) available to order for one person, rather than to share between 2.
The staff were very friendly and attentive, happy to suggest meals.
The menu was decently sized, with variety of options from small plates to bigger meals. Quite a few were traditional dishes as well, which is what we came for.
Food was delicious, the atmosphere was lovely. Would definitely recommend this place.

Há Patriá is the type of restaurant you accidentally stumble upon in the most unexpected corner of Faro. Located near the Faro Marina, the tourism capital of the city, Há Patriá is surprisingly local, perhaps a spot you’d only know if you’ve lived here for a few years. With knowledgeable waitstaff, genuine Portuguese cuisine, a warm atmosphere, and reasonable prices, we couldn’t have had asked for a better dinner in Faro. A big thank you to Tiago and Jorge for a wonderful night; thank you for making our Portuguese adventure so special.

A lovely small local restaurant by the marina with a very authentic feel. We stopped by for tapas and wine, and everything we tried was delicious. The food was full of flavour, and the wine paired perfectly with the dishes.
The waiter was friendly, spoke very good English, and the service was excellent throughout. The atmosphere felt relaxed and welcoming, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and location.
Overall, a great spot for casual dining by the marina, authentic, tasty food, good service, and good value for money.

I’ve just finished having dinner at this beautiful restaurant…
We found it by chance, since we didn’t know the city and decided to trust the reviews.
We couldn’t have found anything better: the staff were very kind and the food—especially the fish—was of the highest quality.
The best dish was the octopus, the best I’ve ever eaten, and that’s coming from someone who comes from an Italian island and is used to eating excellent-quality seafood!
Highly recommended!

We arrived at 7:40pm on a Friday and the place was almost empty - we asked for a table for 3 and were told they were fully booked for the night (this is always a good sign!) instead of turning us away, he said come back in 30 mins if you can and I will have a table for you.
We are so glad we came back - the table was waiting for us, amazing food, a great selection of wine, fantastic service, and we were so surprised when the bill came! We knew the menu was reasonable but for the experience and the quality you expect to pay so much more.
Cannot recommend here enough!

Good nail.
The only restaurant that served us with sympathy 15 min from closure.
All the other restaurants refused.
No worries about the hours.

They served a salad that was not suitable for consumption.
Tasteless food, very questionable quality.
When we complained about the salad, they brought another one exactly the same, an old and spoiled salad.
They didn't even apologize.
