Very welcoming friendly bar. The owners make you feel at home as soon as you arrive. Lovely atmosphere sitting outside in the early evening sun quaffing wine & a pint.

Great pub serving superb Guinness!!

We spent some time there most days over the last two weeks. It is a very pleasant place to sit and enjoy a drink both in the afternoon and during the evening. The Owners and staff are all very polite and friendly. The business attracts a friendly clientele of both residents and visitors to the Old Village. The temperatures were high when we were there but there is sufficient shade for all. I assume the temperatures will drop in the next couple of months but I remember that, last year, there were fleece blankets available to keep you warm. Excellent prices for SuperBock and wine both during and after happy hour (the latter lasting for four hours). We have already arranged for next year’s return.

Lovely, friendly bar in the heart of the old village 😍 The staff are very friendly and are happy to stand and chat to you when they're not busy. The happy hour is plural running from 3-8pm and covers a good variety of drinks including beer and wine. They don't do food, only snacks such as nuts, olives and crisps but this works well and is nice to sit in a bar that is just a bar! The decor inside is very tasteful and blankets are provided for the chillier evenings which is a lovely touch. There also have live music going on on a few nights a week during the summer which added to the atmosphere. Great place 👍
