Celebrating my birthday at a place we first went to 30 years ago. Still as good, with the owner Beatrice front of house who was a star and made every effort to ensure my 61st was a memorable one.

My wife and I visited on a Monday evening. We didn't expect to find such a beautiful place open on Monday and were stunned by the quality and atmosphere.
We shared some oysters and GIANT tiger shrimp, followed by House Cataplan which was just amazing.
We finished it off with a glass of port recommended by the owner. We are not knowledgeable about port, however the owner's excitement was clear when she opened the very old bottle and said that this was a special one indeed!
We will definitely be back!! ❤️

This restaurant never fails to deliver brilliant food, wine and service. I've been coming to this restaurant for the past 7 years and never been disappointed. Always very high standard. Also free pick up and drop off to local areas and hotel. Little gem

A lovely place with great food and character tucked away in a part of the town I hadn't visited before. Great food and wine, and service to match. I had a beautiful piece of lamb which was slow cooked until tender and tasty. All in for four people was 180 Euros, and we had three courses and didn't hold back on the great Portuguese wine on offer.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is really pleasant. The menu is in Portuguese but nevertheless all the waiters and waitress are really kind and willing to explain the best dishes conforming to your wills in English and even in Italian. I suggest following their proposals which can be different each day. We really appreciated the starters and the lamb meat.
The desserts are e beautifully shown off in the middle of the room (a bit expensive). In general the cost is fair. I really recommend this restaurant!

O la cabane is that restaurant we make a point of going to whenever we are in the Algarve, it's one of those places that captivates us and where we know we will find quality and good service.

Relaxed, calm ambiance, a very warm welcome from Beatrice and all the staff, and fantastic food. Come hungry! Lamb shoulder was huge and the black pig cheeks were stunning, a beautiful meal all round, topped off with an amazing apple tart.
