As a family we come to Portugal every year and having walked past this restaurant many a time we finally visited and wow so pleased we did. The food was fantastic (all be it too much) Joao Paulo is a fantastic host attentive but not hovering. This will be on our list of favorites to visit on our trips out in the future.

The staff firstly....they were so helpful and welcoming... particularly Joáo Paulo, who was so attentive all evening....also Nelson, equally helpful. The food was the best I have ever eaten anywhere in the world, as was the service. The owners owe a debt to their wonderful staff. A magical, memorable evening. Thank you.

Best seafood restaurant in the Algarve. I been going to Sol e Mar for the last 9y and the experience is always outstanding. Excellent, fresh seafood and great service. Shout out to Patrick who is such a great waiter always taking care of its customers.

3 of us visited in early July. We were greeted by Patrick who welcomed us into the restaurant. He took time to explain the canapes that were on the table. Patrick was attentive and polite throughout our visit and the fruit de mer that we shared was epic.

Something happens, in all visits to the Algarve, I travel 50km to visit one of the best seaweed in the Algarve.
On the 25th, I took friends and that little boat became boring.

The seafood boat is amazing with a delicious variety of seafood, some warm, which is a novelty for us. Garlic prawns were also really good. Less keen on the warm bread based mush. Good wine choices. Excellent service. Definitely worth booking.
