The best dinner experience in Monte Gordo. Extremely polite staff and delicious food. It was like eating your grandmas homemade food 🥹🤤. We tried a few of the dishes and they were all so tasty. The atmosphere was also lovely, calm, relaxing and it just felt like we at home. So extremely satisfied. I didn’t get time to take more pictures of the food because it was just too good ;)

Extremely surprised with experience. Enjoyed vegetable tempuras (crisp, fresh, varied), momo thukpa (fantastic broth, great spices even when done mild) and vanilla ice-cream. Could have even drank the broth, so good it was.

Amazing food, so friendly! We absolutely loved it here, would definitely come back, must try if you’re in this area, we love spicy food with Asian influences and they’re so perfect for that, but if you can’t handle spice they also do much milder dishes, the service is amazing and they’re willing to customise your dishes to your preference, I would recommend the sea bass with chips and salad to anyone!

I go to Monte Gordo at least once a month. Many months more often. I chose several restaurants that I wanted to try. Maya was not one of them for the passed years. However, after speaking with a local person I gave them a try with my friend last weekend. Why the heck hadn't I tried this place before in the passed 3 years? I wish I had. We went for the Thali menu this time as i remembered having this in the Canary Islands when I lived there. I hadn't seen it since on the mainland. It was different to Tenerife, but every bite was delicious, even down to a little raw veg to cleanse the pallet. When I eat out and try the tourist menu's, which are the best value, I always add a few extras I want to try. The prices accommodated these extras. very good prices, even on the standard menu. The staff were attentive, without being intrusive, the food fresh and tasty and the prices well within budget. i would recommend this place. I do have another indian place i like, but now I will be alternating between the two.
