It’s closed to go by car from 9:00 to 19:00
I recommend going by car earlier that 9, you don’t pay the 10€ of bus and you don’t depend on the bus time, you can leave whenever you want to
Aside from that, we hiked down the trail and it took us 40 mins, we kept going around the edge next to the lake and we found another lake.

Breathtaking lake with its vivid green color in the sun. If you decide to hike down the trail to the lake from the parking lot, it’s not a circular route and you’ll have to climb up the same steep descent to go back, there’s some stairs to help but I found it to be a moderately difficult hike. I wouldn’t do it after it has rained. Otherwise, loved the views, they’re much more impressive from the top.

The view here was just absolutely incredible. If you gave the chance to spot here while visiting the azores take the opportunity. Not that far from ponta Delgado on soa Miguel. This view point did not disappoint at all.
