Beautiful Miradouro with a great view of the city and the ocean. Was there in December and the weather plus the atmosphere was serene.

Great view of the city and a bit of the port. Best viewing spot is through the playground and to the left.

One of the best view points over the magnificent city of Lisbon. Enter through the gates of the playground and walk to the end. You will have a lot of place to sit and just enjoy the view.
Magnificent place to just turn off your mind and live in the moment, because it's not as crowded as other miradouros.

Miradouro do Recolhimento feels like a hidden corner of Lisbon. It’s located near Castelo de São Jorge, but compared to the more famous viewpoints, this one is much quieter and more intimate.
The terrace is small and simple, with just a few benches and trees providing shade. From here, you get a beautiful view over Alfama’s rooftops, with the Tagus River stretching out in the distance. The angle is slightly different from the bigger miradouros, which makes it feel more personal and less staged.
What I liked most is the calm atmosphere. There were only a handful of people when I visited, and it felt like a local secret rather than a major attraction. You can sit down, take a breath, and really absorb the layered red roofs and narrow streets below.
It’s not dramatic or grand, but that’s exactly the charm. Miradouro do Recolhimento is perfect if you want a peaceful pause while exploring the castle area — a small but memorable stop with an authentic Lisbon vibe.

Great view but if you’re looking for a sunset don’t go here. The west is blocked so probably best to come here for sunrise.
If you want to get a good sunset view, go to Miradouro da Graça.
