It was nice to stop by this place. The view of the sea coast from the windmill is worth the visit. Easy to park nearby, and no reservation is required. A good spot to take a few photos and enjoy the view

An interesting walk out from Madalena along the coast to reach the vineyards and the windmill. The sheer effort required to build all the stonewalls and to grow the grapes is very impressive. Climb up the steps of the windmill to get a good view over the tiny rocky fields.

Great to see the vineyards. It’s free to walk or drive around inside. Just be careful as the farmers are still working. It’s hot so bring water. The lady in the windmill sold me grapes from the vineyard for €2. Worth seeing. I wrote a scooter through. Road is loose dirt and stone so be careful.

A beautiful old windmill that was restored and provides the best view over the World Heritage Vineyards that are all around it. There is also an very nice old lady selling trinkets and essentials inside the windmill if you catch it open.
