So well looked after and food was really lovely..outdoor seating area beautiful...
We had chateaubriand, seasonal veg and truffle mash..it was incredible...my son described it as one of the best meals he's had!
5 ⭐️experience, if I'm back in the Algarve I'll be back here for sure!

Family ran restaurant, very nice and has a great atmosphere both inside and outside.
I just thought the price was quite high for the region. All ingredients are locally sourced and the restaurant is fully owned and managed by this family.
I was going to order the pork, but as I don’t like mushrooms the owner recommended something else, so I got the steak. The steak came with mushrooms on top which reflects the service. The steak was good anyways, regular.
Dessert was very good.

I went to Monica’s for Sunday Lunch. The Staff were VERY Welcoming and Friendly. The food was delicious…!! I would highly recommend this gem of a restaurant. By the way… the restaurant is dog 🐶 friendly.

Monica’s is always a highlight of our trips. The food is always perfect. We started with cocktails (ask for a Vesper martini - they do a great one!!) followed by their breads, marinated carrots, and the anchovies. For our mains we had the roast pork (great on a Sunday) with all the trimmings.
They have a kids menu or will do smaller portions. They’re always accommodating and have brilliant service. It can get busy in the summer so is always worth booking a table so you’re not disappointed.
We’ll be back again soon.

Each year a group of us come down to stay in QdL and, without fail, during the few weeks that we are visiting we will visit the restaurant. The atmosphere is very friendly and we are greeted by the owner and quickly seated. We do make a reservation as the group can be anything from 6 to 10 people. …
