Nazaré is a great place to experience the old fish industry and new surfing culture.

I've visited Nazaré Beach many times. While it’s famous for its massive waves, I’ve never actually seen them myself. Still, the beach is beautiful—wide, clean, and perfect for a relaxing day. The atmosphere is charming, and it’s easy to find a spot to sit and enjoy the view. Right across from the beach, there are several great restaurants offering delicious, traditional Portuguese food—especially seafood. The service is usually friendly, and prices are fair. Even without the record-breaking waves, Nazaré is always worth the visit. I enjoy coming here and will definitely return again in the future.
