An absolutely sensational meal. Everything was perfect. From the amuse bouche to the dessert. All of the wonderfully fresh and sumptuously cooked seafood was a dream- the salmon tartare was light, refreshing and flavoursome. The Cataplana (seafood stew) was perfectly balanced, with a complex broth and decadent morsels of delicious clams, mussels, prawns and monkfish. The mascarpone mousse with crispy peanuts and caramel sauce left me in delirium. All complimented by excellent service and a warm atmosphere. 100% recommend visiting - worth the drive.

We absolutely loved this place! The food was delicious and great value for money. The staff were super friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We enjoyed it so much during our 4-day stay that we came back a second time. Don’t miss the anchovies in vinegar – they were amazing!

Where to begin. I've been in many many restaurants in general, ( nevermind in Portugal)whether while I'm traveling or not. I like my food but I'm not fussy or picky. But this hidden gem is something exceptional! Nunu & Susi have lifted the dining experience to another level. Truly memorable!!! It's a tiny restaurant with an unforgettable dining experience. From the start to finish everything was top class 👌 When we visited this restaurant first we didn't expect much, yet the food exceeded our expectations. Honestly you need to come back to try more and more. Susi is just from another planet an extremely talented chef. Traditional Cataplana, Rabbit stew, Tuna steak, Salmon en croute, Deep fried squid, Fresh figs w walnuts & honey , Susi's dessert, Banoffee pie, Red berries panacota and ( going backwards) covert to the begining contains pate, sel. of homemade biscuits, olives, marinated carrots, grilled peppers and fresh bread( still hot!). And much more. Everything was to die for. Yummy 😋 Nunu is real gentleman and his wife Susi is just MasterChef!!!! Best restaurant in Portugal. Thank you for everything 🙏 We'll definitely be back soon.

To say we were impressed is to say too little. I think this has been our best portugese experience, both food and service wise. From bread, to cataplana and to desserts, exceptional.

Had dinner here 3 nights in a row because I was so impressed. Delicious food and friendly service at very reasonable prices. Loved the Couvert starter dishes - can't believe it's only 3 euros. Steak was great (and big!), as was the lamb stew. There are many other menu dishes in addition to their standard menu (see menu photo). Will visit again if I'm ever in the area!
