Located off the tourist area of Cabanas, this eaterie is great. Atomosphere is local but many expats frequent it regularly.

Why? Great value for money and tasty too.

Unbelievable value Portuguese style 4 course lunch (4 options) weekdays for €13. Sea bream was excellent. There was a 'pork in the oven' dish, rabbit stew and beef bitoque.

Yes only €13... including 1 glass of wine, beer or soft drink per person !!!! Wow.

Weekends mains only €10-12.

Evening table service is also an option at similar great value.

We met head waiter Mandeep. So pleasant, always engaging you with his great sense of humour. His lovely wife keeps an eye on him - she works in the kitchen...lol. The owners too, Sarah and Silvio complete a friendly, relaxed, "nothing is too much for the customer" service.

This place has a nice buzz ...busy conversations over lunch add to the backdrop.

First breakfast in Portugal and it was excellent. This may be a regular eatery.
I have been eating lunch and dinner regularly over the past 2 1/2 months here and it continues to be excellent.

Loved this place, the food was fab, had two Tuna salad sandwiches which were large and a home made large portion of chips. Staff were very friendly and upbeat. After had milky coffees and two cakes which were both really tasty, was very good value. Also had a wee wander around the village to see some of the old houses and other buildings. Cheers 😁😁😁😁

Brilliant. Go and enjoy the great food the Wonderful atmosphere and the attentive staff. Would go back every day if I could.

Best place for food and drink. Very good value. Outdoor and indoor eating areas. Good service. We come here as many times as we can. Sometimes there is entertainment on a Friday night.
