Stumbled upon this superb place today after roaming around Alte. Excellent all 'round. Great food and fantastic service all provided by the lovely Andrea. She welcomes, serves, cooks, clears, tends bar, makes coffee too. We enjoyed exquisite Potuguese Percebes barnacles and a squid dish with warm toasted garlic bread and yummy olives and carrots with garlic. Hubby loved the almond pastry with his coffee afterwards. All this with wine and soda, and Andrea's smile under 30 Euros. An absolutely wonderful find.

Unsuspecting, but very cute café with incredible food. Different types of salads, prawns, clams, octopus. Amazing toasties and tinned fish. Friendly staff. Hidden gem.
