Old Times Bistro, Bar & Coffee

Fantastic find. Food was delicious and huge portions, service was excellent, extremely friendly staff, and very reasonably priced. Added bonus was that they allowed our dog in.

Excellent Bar when we arrived hotel was so awful they helped us re-locate to a great apartment. So helpful & friendly. This is a great Bar with a wonderful atmosphere.
Food really good, friendly service.
Entertainment really good.

Amazing little hidden bistro with yummy food. It is exactly what you think a Bistro should be. The best thing was that the owner was there and greeted us and was so friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. This type of good food mixed with perfect hospitality makes us want to come back (and we’ve just made reservations to return with 10 people). We are looking forward to the music and fun.

Update…we went this evening for the music and there was also a soccer game on the TV not a good combo for an enjoyable dinner. When you make reservations I’d suggest avoiding the place when there is a game on (unless you’re a fan and don’t mind standing). It was windy outside and we were relegated to the sidewalk so our food got cold fast and the owner worked hard but really didn’t have enough staff to keep the service level up. Again he was great but just too many people. So again just avoid game nights. We will try again in a month to see if it’s less crazy. It also wasn’t fun having peoples behinds on our head while we are. A group who was waiting for a table crowded over our head to watch the game through the window. Game night -bad night.

Really nice comfort food, good beer, good music, friendly staff, fair prices... what's not to like? 🙂

Lovely food, great flavours, Raj cooking. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Service was efficient and done with a smile. Live music an added bonus. I'll be back.
