Best pastel de nata in Carvoeiro! Highly recommend their pastries. A local suggested this place, so I stopped by for just one pastel de nata — it was so good I went back the next day with a friend. We ended up trying a variety of their treats, and everything was absolutely delicious (and super fresh).

If you’re looking for a bakery in Carvoeiro, Padaria Fabrica Velha is the one and only choice. Be prepared to wait in line if you’re ordering takeaway, but if you choose to sit inside, you’ll usually find a free table quickly and can enjoy perfect sweet pastries along with excellent fresh juice, coffee, and toasted sandwiches. The staff are in great spirits, with a few friendly waitresses, and the prices are excellent.

Bright modern deco. Good service. Ham & cheese sandwich with homemade bread is delicious. 2 x cappuccino, 2 x ham& cheese sandwich with homemade bread, 1 x small orange juice and 1 x chocolate croissant cost me only €12.70. Very reasonable price!!

Every time we visit Carfeiro, it is a must for us to visit this great bakery/cafe. It is a bit off the beaten path, but easily accessible on foot.
The selection of baked goods is very diverse and delicious. Friendly staff.

A little piece of paradise. Very friendly and great food. We had a couple of pastries with freshly squeezed orange juice and it tasted as good as it looked. Prices were very reasonable. I wanted to return for lunch. Highly recommended.

Perfect hand made fresh pastries and breads. Delicious coffees. Friendly staff. Best pastel de nata we have ever had! (We came here three times in a five day break!). Highly recommend.

I had read about this place before our stay in Carvoeiro and WOW. It did not disappoint. Me and my husband visited every day to purchase fresh bread and cakes for lunch at our villa - we had to walk down and up the Rampa to get there but it was totally worth it!
