After a satisfying meal, we strolled past MEO Arena (a concert hall) to the waterfront.

IT WAS A HOT DAY at 33 degrees!

Thankfully, the shade of the tress by the gardens of Garcia de Orta provided some cooling that we badly needed. During this walk, we also saw a cable car that ran parallel to the waterfront. Not sure what views that one could see from these cable cars but they were filled. We also saw the Vasco da Gama Bridge – the longest bridge in EU at 17.2km...

It's right next to the oceanarium which is great and large. It is the second biggest one in Europe and you can easily spend 3 hours here if you enjoy all the sections thoroughly. The otters are very sweet. It is satisfactory to see them. Also loved all the detailed info and warnings about some of those species too. A great way to spend your day.

This futurist part of Lisbon can only be described as a hidden gem that I was glad to discover. The brutalist architecture, the amount of activities one can do here, and all the plants really make the place feel magical. I would definitely recommend that you come here to watch the sunset.
