Excellent boardwalk gorgeous views. Coffee shops, restaurants and clothes stores along the way and a flat surface for buggies with public seating for embracing the views. The boat taxis are available along the route and cost €1.50 to ferry you to the beach. Along the route one end has fishing opportunities and a fish store for those interested. There are fish, crabs, wild cats all along the route which can be seen. Doesnt have the cheaper vibe of albuferia (high rise developments) this is very much a traditional feel with local food and traditions still strong

This place is fab. Lovely walk along the front of Cabanas. Boats and birds coming and going. Great variety big wildlife. Great place to vase yourself for a few days/weeks. Train station bout a mile away but there are some buses. Trains go to Faro and Vila Real de Santa Antonio, where you can take a ferry to Spain. There is also boats across to Cabanas island which is an amazing sandy beach. We recommend and will return. 😁😁 Also some fab eateries and bars. Yum 😋

Very nice boardwalk, you can enjoy the view and relax on benches that are available every few hundred meters. A must do walk when in Cabanas.
