As a family of 5 staying in Albufiera in January it has been lovely!
We walked to Old Town a few times and thankfully came across Paulo’s which is now run by a lovely guy called Dorian (and his family). We immediately felt welcomed and Dorian is witty and speaks great English!
He has only owned the place since the end of 2024 and is hoping to offer a tapas type menu soon.
Currently only accepts cash (not card) but that wasn’t a problem.
We’ve been back to the bar 3 times now, the music was fab and we’ve always been made to feel welcomed by the staff and other holiday makers drinking there, even with 3 children under 10!

What a lovely little gem of a place! We stumbled upon this Portuguese bar as we were walking along one of the many alleyways in albufeira, we stopped and had a couple of drinks inside as we admired the decor. We soon learned that Paulo designed and made everything in the bar. Great atmosphere and a nice respite from the intensity of old town mad party atmosphere. We didn’t have any food.
