There are - depending on the tide - protected tide pools for the little kids. Our 5 and 8 tear olds were able to wade in there - with virtually no current. You just need to watch out for slippery rocks - water shores are a must. There is no sand so be prepared to put towels down on the rocks or concrete slab. There is built in shade on the slab which was surprisingly nice.

Kind of hidden and it is not somewhere to go on purpose from the other side of the island but definitely worth stopping if you are passing by.
There's are a couple of natural pools in a nice scenery, protected from the waves. The water is not warm unlike Ponta Ferraira, we checked!

Absolutely a beautiful place not to be missed if in this area,one could easily pass it by without knowing the area, I'd advise also to look it up on trip advisor.
