Great food and quick, nice service. My friend took one of the specials, I took octopus from the regular menu. Both were amazing and delivered really quickly. They have a lot of additional seating downstairs with quiet atmosphere. 10/10

First & only night in Aljezur so I had to dine here!!
After an incredible meal - mixed green salad 🥗 & the infamous Dogfish of Arrifana w / Sweet Potato … delicate white fish & sweet SP - I was given a complimentary shot of The Aguardente de Medronho — a strong spirit & a traditional fruit brandy from Portugal, obtained from arbutus berries - the fruit of the Medronho tree, Arbutus unedo - also called strawberry tree.
Highly recommend for great food, wine, and energy.

We like the restaurant and the food. Wine was a little bit bitter, but the octopus was perfect.. we waited a long time to be ask to pay even when we had the check yet.

Highly recommended! Traditional cuisine with a good variety of dishes on the menu plus several daily specials — all based on fresh local products. We went for two of the specials, the dogfish and the pork cheeks, both perfectly cooked and full of flavor, you could really taste the slow cooking and they came with a side. They also have a wide selection of homemade desserts — we tried the almond tart, topped with a crunchy layer of caramelized almonds, and it was absolutely wonderful!

Great small restaurant in Aljezur. Well kept rustic building with elements from the past.
The food is great. We had the pork cheeks and they were amazing. If you want to taste a bit of Portugal this is the place, said by a Portuguese. I'd you're looking for something not too expensive and with great flavours you won't be disappointed.

We ordered a fish cataplana as a main course, for two. It wasn't bad, but too much cilantro for my taste and a fish flavor that we didn't quite like; the typical Algarve dessert was good, but overall the price was high. The interior of the place is cozy..

Tamboril rice with gambas very well served for 2 people, and delicious! Typical Algarve desserts. I will definitely return and recommend to those who pa…

On holiday we rarely visit a restaurant more than once but having stumbled upon this place on the first night and being spoilt for choice we decided to return. The first night we opted for sardines and salad which were amazing. Also had starters of bread, olives and cheese and anchovy salad. All de…

We had a tuna steak that looked and tasted like a kassler. Also a steak with pamous fries drowned in fat.
The wine was good. The Service was like in a cafeteria. The weakest restaurant in Aljezur.
Once is enough.
