Recommend to visit during March to May or September to October when it's still warm and there's not so many people

Beautiful and clean beach with bars, restaurants and water sports available. Great place for all age ranges. From here you can also start a boat tour to go visit the caves and see the dolphins, an adventure totally worthwhile, it’s a bit adventurous and scenic.

Sand is soft and warm like cotton candy. The sun is perfect. Swimming is an experience filled with drama, the ocean washes you with tides of warm and cold pulling you and swaying you around like a schooner. Despite my best efforts I did not meet a shark. 10/10

Our vacation was mid-September 2018. The beach is very wide, sandy. Before the eye, you can see the magnificent views of the pink-brown sandstone rocks, which are formated by rain, wind and ocean.
The beach is perfect for those who love long walks along the sea shore. We were very pleased with the great weather, ocean waves and beautiful Portugal.

A beautiful beach, relatively quiet, with lovely clear water and soft sand. Lovely to see free ash trays and rubbish bins around - very concerned with the environment encouraging people to stay off the dunes. A lovely beach, for everyone. You can take a long walk or splash in the beautiful waves.
