Seeing a local man descending in his flipflop gave me courage to hike down. It was steep and slippery. I descended from the two top plateaus. There was a little valley between them. I didn’t see this other visible walking path marked with wooden poles.
But, oh my, the view was spectacular both from the top and the bottom, and I had miles and miles of golden sandy beach all to myself. Extremely serene and pristine. While sintra was swarming with tourists (I took a train and got off there and it was like a zoo in town), this area had practically no tourists. Amazing beach.

Beautiful private beach. You have to walk and hike a little to get access to the beach, which might be dangerous and difficult for some. Take your time and have appropriate shoes for safety.
It was not crowded, I got to fully enjoy myself to the fullest. If you love to be alone on the beach, I would completely recommend you this, but there are challenges to get there😁

Very quiet and beautiful beach, although not easy to get to, but that’s what makes it so majestic. Make sure to pack your own lunch and take a lot of water with you, and maybe get there in the afternoon, as we were there in august and the fog only went away around 3pm.

One of the most beautiful beaches I’ve seen in Portugal, not crowded even on summer days, but it’s hard to access. You need to do a small hike to get there, but not very easy, but totally worth it in the end.

Imagine staying in the busy beaches around the area with cluster of surfers taking over the sea and the beach space, families with kids running around and making noise, with busy parking lots and petty theft, while you have this marvel round the corner. Couldn't be me.
