Even though there are algae as many people mentioned. But it’s quiet, and peaceful. I actually love it here so much more than Monte Gordo. I walked to Monte Gordo and was shocked by the amount of people. You can’t even walk in peace without dodge people sitting around or playing balls. It’s a bit annoying. But here in Praia Santo Antonio. You have plenty of space to chill and relax. And the water is warm for swimming!!

Beautiful beach even on a weekend in April. Decent vehicle access along a gravel lane. I found the beach on a day with calm seas... the fine sand is ideal for a family with young children. I've been coming here for over 10 years and will continue to go. A true paradise.🙂👍

Praia Santo Antonio is a wonderful place with beautiful beaches to visit in Vila Real de San Antonio (Portugal). You will love to be there.

Just South of VRSA stadium there is an asphalted path with electric lighting which is about 0.8 miles long and leads through a forest to a gorgeous beach with fine sand. You can walk to Monte Gordo or the mouth of the Guadiana river from there.
