A truly lovely place. Shallow area for young children to swim. Very reasonable prices, clean toilets, plenty of bins. Arrive early, around 10am , does get busy after 12pm.

A wonderful place on a hot day! Parking is free, there are shaded areas (just walk to the back), but you can also rent sun loungers and a parasol (15 euros for the whole day). No inflatables, but there are pedal boats for hire. It's not crowded at all, it seems quieter than the other beach (Ribeira). There are some water plants, but they're not a nuisance. A little paradise.
