Great pool built on the Ribeira Grande stream, available to the public free of charge. Not huge but with big trees (for shadow) and grass covered shores.

Great kid friendly pools. Very clean,toilets too. Lovely shack selling hotdogs and drinks including alcohol. Less than a couple of euros each to get in and you can swim in the river beach right outside the pool then come back in. Very recommended.

This is a lovely place for a swim, a picnic or just to relax. The place is well taken care, it has plenty of open space although it's located inside the town. The trees provide plenty of shade. The only thing that can disturb this peaceful place are the teenagers that do gatherings on weekend powered by loudspeakers.
