Praia Ponta do Mato

Beautiful area, close to a military base. Very quiet around the marshes, perfect white sand on the beach. Unfortunately a lot of rubbish all over the place which is the only reason this place doesn't get 5 stars.

Panoramic views of Lisbon, Seixal, Barreiro and both of the Lisbon bridges.

This can be an amazing spot. Read carefully.
The beach itself is amazing! It's abandoned, you will most likely be alone. But the view is amazing, the sea is calm, we found many incredible seashells (ones you pay money for in shops). There is such lovely nature nearby.
BUT
The way to get there is very strange. We took an Uber/Bolt but he was hesitant to bring us. The final stretch of road is unpaved and with giant holes. The car has to drive at walking speed. Therefore he said, we won't find a driver to bring us back. There is also a lot of trash besides this road. Such a pity because the area could very well be a national park, it could be amazing.
We walked the unpaved road back after our very lovely visit and very easily found a ride back from there. Apart from the trash now and again, the walk was fun with some nice views on the special marshes.

This should be a national park, Lissabon needs to invest in this beach. For now, if you don't mind the bad extra's, it's kind of An amazing place for you to enjoy on your own.
To be clear, there are zero facilities here. No toilets, no restaurants or bar, just beach and nature.

And i think its a place for locals so we should let this place for them
