Must visit! A gorgeous place. We took so many photos.
We bought tickets for €22 per person at the Sintra train station. You can’t drive there - only buses and taxis are allowed.
There were internal queues to see Quinta da Regaleira. Some stairs were really wet, and water was dripping from the ceiling. So you need to be ready this.

An amazing place for a walk that truly feels magical. The gardens, tunnels, and architecture create a unique atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re inside a fairytale. Every corner has something beautiful to discover, so it’s a perfect place to explore slowly and enjoy the surroundings.

The ticket is a bit expensive, but it’s definitely worth it if you enjoy visiting beautiful, unique, and almost mystical places. A must-visit when you’re in Sintra!

Errrehhh ladies and gents! If you ever visit Sintra Portugal this is a must see stop! Built in the early 20th century, this estate features a luxurious palace, a chapel, a garden and the deep initiation wells with hidden underground tunnels! This romantic architecture is stunning and beautiful to experience! Make sure you bring warm, waterproof clothes and boots depending on the time of year you go. We loved seeing the amazing detail and all the hidden pathways! The well is 9 stories deep with a spiral staircase. Go to Sintra on the CP and enjoy the beautiful architecture and surroundings the city has to offer.

This place is sublime! I liked it more than Pena Palace! It's like a mysterious journey through secret tunnels, exotic gardens, lakes, caves and buildings, such as the famous Initiation Fountain. This spiral fountain descends 27 meters into the ground and is surrounded by a staircase, also built in a spiral. Have a raincoat and suitable shoes, because it is a humid place, where you feel like under a summer rain. The fountain has a special energy and is considered the connection of earth and sky, life and death, light and darkness. Go with an open heart and let yourself be stolen by the energy of the place. The Regaleira Palace has impressive architecture, the gardens are extensive and every alley takes you through a story. And the view over Sintra is superb, from wherever you look.❤️❤️❤️❤️

Absolutely stunning place with so much to see and explore. The views were breathtaking at every turn and the natural surroundings made it feel peaceful and almost magical. The palace itself was incredible, with beautiful architecture and so many intricate details to admire. You can easily spend 2-3 hours wandering around, taking in the scenery and discovering new spots. A perfect mix of nature history, and amazing views. Definitely a highlight and 100% worth visiting! Since a lot of it is outdoors, it is weather dependent.
