Restaurante Lamim

We visited Restaurante Lamim based on the Google reviews and we certainly weren't disappointed. The owner was very friendly and spoke good English, he explained the restaurant specialities and as a group of six adults we decided to try the different dishes and share them. All the food that arrived was excellent but special mention must go to the 'small sole' which we had a double portion of - the fish was cooked perfectly and the vegetables that came with it were lovely and a nice change from a lot of other restaurants that just provide french fries or potatoes. The broad beans main course which came with what would be described as black pudding in the UK was also excellent and not something I'd ever tried before.
Value for money for amazing compared to the more touristy venues we'd eaten at previously and the house wine was good. The only shame was that the restaurant wasn't more busy, but it was a midweek evening early in May so hopefully it will get busier as the Summer progresses as the owner provides an excellent service.

We stopped into this family run restaurant for lunch and ordered the lunch special which included a beverage (wine), bread & olives, soup (amazing!), salad & dish, and dessert (chocolate cake - the best EVER). The shared dishes were family style. You could tell this was a place where locals frequent for good food and friendly service.

We had a great dinner at Lamin. We had their specialty the small sole plate with green rice, tomato salad, and the Ibérico pork. Everything was fresh and tasty. When in the area again, we certainly will come back. We recommend the place, it is a gem!

We have been meaning to try this place for a while and it was worth the wait. We'll priced, great local food and very generous portions plus friendly and humorous service. Fantastic.
