We had the most fantastic meal here. The staff were lovely and you could tell they were so passionate about the food - which was delicious. They were keen to show us some of the other dishes being served to other customers which really displayed their passion for the food, and now I desperately need to go back for the Mozambique prawns which looked absolutely mind blowing.

I had the monkfish moqueca which was so delicately flavoured and absolutely delicious.

We were lucky to be able to walk in and get a table, but it is March and out of season, they did mention a few times it would be best to call ahead. We will definitely be back before the end of our trip.

What an amazing dining experience! From the moment you walk in the door it feels like home, the smells delicious and the owner treats you like family.

We had the chamuça and spring roll to start, and the braised steak (sort of pot roast in an incredible sauce) and the lombo de tamboril no forno. WOW! What a delightful, delicious, unique dish.

Unfortunately didn't have room for dessert, next time!

What an incredible surprise! A delightful local gem in Almancil. Family-owned and operated, the warm atmosphere was a joy. Started with prawns and couldn't resist the highly recommended famous prawn curry! Absolutely amazing. Wrapped up the meal with a delightful homemade apple tart. Big thanks to Leonel for the warm hospitality and the delicious dining experience. I'll certainly be returning soon!

Went there with a small group of friends for my birthday.
The service was amazing.
Every person was wowed by the food.
The monkfish au gratin is the best monkfish dish I have ever had.
You could cut the braised steak with a spoon.
