An above-average Portuguese restaurant in terms of food quality. However, pricing is on the higher side for Lagoa — it feels more like Carvoeiro pricing.
Watch out for hidden charges: the bread and olives brought before the meal cost nearly €8.
What saves the rating is the excellent service — the staff were warm, attentive, and professional.

Lovely meal, nice people and atmosphere. The only downside was that for the price we paid, I think the portions were a little small.
However, the food was delicious, the desert was yummy, and we were overall happy with this restaurant.

We went here without much notice because our original booking at another restaurant had gone wrong. Even though we were 7 people arriving at 9pm, they catered for us and I suspect stayed open late for our benefit. The menu is comprehensive as is the wine list. Thoroughly recommend.

doesn't open until 12pm does except children and dogs outside. Food was very nice, steak Portuguese was lovely, salmon fillet too. We arrived on recommendation from a Portuguese cafe owner but we were quarter of an hour early and they had just opened doors. They would not let us sit in doors at an already set up table and it was very warm outside. I can understand but feel it would have been polite and we were okay about this but others may have walked away, losing 5 meals.

Great food, good value, friendly staff. Will definitely be back there again. Will need better translation app though, as menu only in Portuguese, and I'm ashamed to say my Portuguese is not good enough. 2 of us, cover, 3 courses, bottle of wine and water, coffee all for 62€.
