Very simple place with friendly owner. Enjoyed Polvo à lagareiro and a breakfast next day. A bit too expensive, but it was good.

One of the few restaurants open on Christmas Eve. Cafe style interior, friendly helpful staff, really nice food and very reasonably priced. We had pork, potato and salad followed by a lovely sweet potato desert.

We are doing the Vicentina route, we are a group of 6 friends, very good dinner, house specialty rice and octopus with delicious sweet potatoes, and a good breakfast to give us the strength to continue our route, very attentive owner and very friendly kitchen lady , I recommend it, we will be back soon with a larger group

The place doesn't look that nice, but the food is actually good. The staff is a little distracted, not rude, they are friendly enough, but a little rough. If you enter from the back it looks a little better. The food was really good, we had the cataplana of monkfish which tasted great (it is some sort of covered pan in which you can cook slowly both meat or fish, typical of the region). They also have several desserts and cakes, we tried one and it was great.
Be aware of the fact that they will bring you some appetizers (they brought us octopus salad) and they are not offered, you will pay for it even if you didn't order it (I'm sure you can refuse it, and it was a very small price, so this wasn't a problem at all, just a warning).
