Beautiful bit of nature and nicely maintained. Be prepared for the hairy drive but definitely worth a visit! Shinto buildings around it, are also worth a wander, it is however,not accessible to those with limited mobility.

Park in the village down by the bridge and follow the footpath by the sign. The river and bathing area is a short 300m walk away and is stunning. The water is cool and refreshing, just keep an eye on any little ones as some of the rocks can be slippery. Highly recommended.
