A Hidden Gem in Faro

We found this wonderful restaurant by accident. A lucky accident! This beautiful restaurant felt like the perfect place the moment we walked in. We were welcomed by Mateus who showed us the menu and created the most delicious litre of sangria I think we ever had. My wife and I shared the calamari for a starter - it was perfectly cooked.. crisp and very moist inside it was a great start!
We followed with the pork and the Picanha steak and it was absolutely superb; the chef must be an expert with this cut of beef as it was exceptional. The pork was also moist and a very generous portion.
We will definitely be back to this restaurant - the service and quality of cooking from the chef was without doubt, the best we experienced in Faro!

We stopped in this restaurant for supper as it was close to our stay and had a good rating. Definitely a great choice. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the staff (family owners). There were a few other tables being served and we were quickly seated in a nice corner table for two. We liked the decor and the layout of the restaurant- home feeling. Our orders were taken, and the drinks and appetizer were quick to come out. It was very nice to see the owners eating at a table together - added to the feeling of eating at their place without taking away from the service. Our pizzas were delicious, and the tasty Tiramisu was served in a very original dish - really great presentation. Their ice-cold cherry liqeur apperative was a very nice way to end the meal. Overall, it was a nice quiet meal very close to Christmas. Thank you.

What can I say? We have now eaten here three times on our last three trips. The food is lovely - we have never had a disappointing forkful! On each occasion we have eaten in a different part of the restaurant and it doesn’t matter whether you eat upstairs or downstairs, inside or outside, everything is so stylish. Drinks are well priced and delicious. Mama’s homemade limoncello was very welcome! The greeting and service are always so friendly. Our best find in ages. Please have a table ready for us when we fly into Faro next on 31 August!

I had a fantastic experience at São Pedro Fusion Restaurant during my December 2025 trip to Faro. I tried the Lasagne, Parmegiana, and Pomodori e Olive, and every dish was bursting with flavour. The food was beautifully prepared, rich, and incredibly satisfying — easily some of the best comfort‑style fusion dishes I’ve had in Portugal.

The atmosphere was welcoming, and the manager along with the serving crew were genuinely friendly and attentive, adding to the overall experience. Even on a cool December day, the restaurant felt warm, inviting, and memorable.

A wonderful spot for delicious food and great hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Faro.

We had the pinsa (light dough pizza) and picanha (steak). Both were excellent, very tasty! The sangria was disappointing, the fruit (strawberries and berries) was frozen. Service was good, our waiter was very friendly and did a solid job with a big smile. The interior decoration was eclectic: a Christmas tree, Easter bunny, lots of flowers, statuettes, paintings, flashy colors, ... And a generous topping of Italian music. All in all we had a nice evening!
